Match Time:7/13/2019 01:00 Saturday(GMT+8)
Arsenal Tula have lost three of their main attacking threats in Luka Dordevic, last season’s top goalscorer Zelimkhan Bakayev and Reziuan Mirzov as their loans all finished. They have made Sergei Tkachyov’s loan permanent, however, as well as re-signing Goran Causic and bringing in young Romanian forward Alexandru Tudorie and veteran Russian forward Evgeniy Lutsenko.
Dinamo Moscow have splashed €5 million on one-time Liverpool target Sebastian Szymanski, as well as Azeri international forward Ramil Sheydayev from Krylia Sovetov Samara and four defensive reinforcements in Zaurbek Pliyev, Ihor Kalinin, Sergei Parshivlyuk and Ivan Ordets. Evgeniy Lutsenko, Sebastian Holmen, Aleksei Kozlov and Evgeni Markov on loan are the key departures.
Injured/Unavailable: Mihail Aleksandrov (cruciate ligament)
Injured/Unavailable: Anton Sosnin (abductor muscles), Sergei Parshivlyuk (shoulder fracture)
MAIN PREDICTION: HOME WIN
Arsenal Tula blazed a remarkable trail last season. However, they are shorn of some of their most potent players and may struggle slightly at the beginning of the season. With a Europa League qualifier looming at the end of the month their fixture list across all competitions will test them on the first foray into Europe, as it did Ufa last campaign.
Dinamo Moscow have lurched through a turbulent league season to remain in the top flight and finally have their magnificent VTB Arena opened for business. Together with Ufa, they drew more league games away from home last season than anybody but only managed a solitary win and five defeats on the road in league action.
Nobody outside last season’s top three won more at home than Arsenal Tula in the league, so expect a home win.
SECOND PREDICTION: HILO - HIGH
Arsenal Tula still have plenty of attacking pace despite the outgoing transfers. Two of their final three home league games last season saw over 2.5 total goals. Dinamo Moscow have conceded twice in each of their last three away league games, with four total goals in both of the last two. Expect a high-scoring league game.
HEAD TO HEAD
Four of the six league meetings have seen at least three total goals, while Dinamo Moscow have failed to score in their last two away league meetings. The last two league encounters have been draws.
