Ehime report no injuries but will be missing their two young stars – Yuta Kamiya and Yoichi Naganuma - to the Japan Under-22 team.
Reysol will miss Yuta Someya to suspension and Taiyo Koga to the Japan Under-22 team.
Injured/Unavailable: Yuta Kamiya (Japan Under-22), Yoichi Naganuma (Japan Under-22).
Suspended: Yuta Someya (one game)
Injured/Unavailable: Taiyo Koga (Japan Under-22).
MATCH PREVIEW MAIN PREDICTION: AWAY WIN
Ehime went down 1-0 away at Fagiano Okayama last weekend in J2. Playing without two of their best players – selected for Under-22 national teams, Yuta Kamiya and Yoichi Naganuma – is tough on Ehime. These two being out will definitely continue to have an effect on the team and I can't see them having a chance against a strong Kashiwa Reysol. Four losses in the last five in league action for Ehime will continue.
An 86th-minute Olunga winner saw Reysol struggle to a 1-0 home win against bottom club FC Gifu last weekend in J2. With just one defeat in 10 league matches Reysol sound impressive but six of those games have been draws and they have picked up just 15 points from a possible 30 – which is not promotion form. They have been struggling to score goals with just five goals in their last nine league matches. They have an impressive forward line on paper, but it I not yet clicking.
Despite scoring troubles Reysol will surely be too strong for a weakened Ehime.
SECOND PREDICTION: CORRECT SCORE 0-1
Ehime may have lost two in-a-row but both have been 1-0, I believe Reysol will be happy with any win, and 1-0 will be enough.
HEAD TO HEAD
The last time these two teams met in the league was in 2010 in J2 when Reysol won both matches.
