FC Flora Tallinn: Three wins in a row ( Recent Form: W L W W W )
The Estonian football is just a marginal phenomenon. The gap in the first division is enormous and canter victories are anything but a rarity. In the year-round championship 2018, for example, the relegated Pärnu Vaprus has received in no less than 123 goals in 36 league games. The capital club Flora Tallinn missed despite 116 goals (an average of 3.63 goals per game) the successful title defense and had to settle for third place behind Nomme Kalju and Levadia. Instead of the CL qualification, the team can now try in the Europa League qualification. The Estonians were not particularly successful in this competition, however, because in the club's history only in 2006, a knockout duel could be won. At that time Flora Tallinn kept the upper hand against FC Lyn Oslo thanks to the away goals rule. Last season, after the CL away against Hapoel Beer Sheva (total score 2: 7), they lost out to APOEL Nicosia in the Europa League qualification. Again and again Flora Tallinn could celebrate victories at home, but this was only possible if the first leg in foreign parts was already lost. At home right in the first knockout duel successes are extremely rare. An advantage for the Estonians is certainly the fact that they are in the middle of championship operation. In the 2019 season, Flora Tallinn ranks first after 19 games. Here, the team of head coach Jürgen Henn has presented this season as extremely abroad strong. The Estonians won ten out of ten games abroad. At home there were "only" six wins in nine games and already two defeats. In this respect, the home advantage is not really given and in the first leg between Flora Tallinn and Radnicki Nis, a forecast in favor of the Estonians is not necessarily recommended.
Radnicki Nis: Ten unbeaten games ( Recent Form: D D W W D )
Normally, the first two places in the Serbian league are in firm hands of the two teams from the capital Belgrade. In the past season, however, underdog Radnicki Nis managed to reach the runner-up. Although the gap to champions Red Star Belgrade was finally twelve points, the team of head coach Nenad Lalatovic remained six points ahead of last year's champion Partizan Belgrade. However, Lalatovic did not want to continue working for Radnicki Nis after the outstanding season and decided to switch to Vojvodina Novi Sad. The Bosnian Simo Krunic was hired as successor. Krunic was previously co-coach of the Serbian national team. On international stage Radnicki Nis is not a freshman, in the UEFA Cup 1982 sensationally reached the semi-finals. The team from the third largest Serbian city is now far away from such successes. In the new Europa League Radnicki Nis was represented in the previous year for the first time and could survive there a round against Gzira United, before the end against Maccabi Tel Aviv had to be accepted. Big names are not to be found among the Serbs, but the level of the Serbian league is at least two classes above that of the semi-amateur league in Estonia. The early game date is certainly not ideal, but Radnicki Nis presented in the preparation quite successfully so far. Three times in a row, the team remained without a goal. Accordingly, a suggestion on "Hit both teams - No" could be an interesting option between Flora Tallinn and Radnicki Nis.
THE BETTING VERDICT:
After all, Flora Tallinn is a team with strong and open attacking play. In the last 6 matches, this team has scored 20 goals. Broadly, after 19 rounds of domestic competitions, the A. Le Coq Arena team had 58 goals. Radnicki Nis is also very impressive. Radnicki Nis has scored 71 times in the 37 league matches in the last Serbian league.
