Injured/unavailable: Omar Eddahri (foot), Oliver Berg (knee)
Injured/unavailable: Johan Wiland (shoulder), Serge-Junior Ngouali (knee)
MAIN PREDICTION: AWAY WIN
Sundsvall lost 2-1 last weekend to Goteborg in the league and their run of games without a win now stretches to nine league games (three draws, six losses). They are currently third from bottom but with the teams below them having one league game in hand Sundsvall could find themselves being last in the table soon if they don’t start picking up points. Striker Omar Eddahri is still injured but Chidi Dauda Omeje has made two substitute appearances after being out for over a year and the club are hoping that he will start finding the net quickly.
Hammarby go into this league game having beaten Falkenbergs 6-2 in league action last weekend. Alex Kacaniklic was their star signing this season. Although he has failed to live up to expectations the midfielder finally proved his worth against Falkenbergs by scoring a hat-trick - his first competitive goals since 2015. The former Swedish international is still only 27 years old and has English top-flight experience. If he can rekindle his form of the past then Hammarby have a real star in their squad. The win against Falkenbergs was their first in five league games (two draws, two losses).
When Hammarby play at their best they are only matched by Malmo and AIK Solna in the league. They look to have found their form again at last and they should beat a home side who haven’t looked good all season.
SECOND PREDICTION: HILO – LOW
Sundsvall’s last two home league games have seen under 2.5 total goals scored. Hammarby have failed to score in their last three away league games and all three have also seen under 2.5 total goals scored. A low-scoring affair seems likely.
HEAD TO HEAD
There have been three straight league wins for Hammarby against Sundsvall and no Sundsvall win in the last five league meetings (three wins, two draws).
