Lahti: Really bad run (Recent Form: LDLLWL)
Lahti ended last season in the bottom half of the table, pretty close to the relegation zone and by the looks of it the new campaign for the club will not be much different, as they did not have the best start and especially recently are having a lot of tough moments and in this new format, I will be surprised if they do not end up in the bottom six. So far the team managed to win just three times in their opening fourteen league games, having managed to collect fifteen points in these games (3-6-5) and with that right now being in the bottom half of the table, five points behind the top six and five points ahead of the bottom two. Also, like I mentioned, as of recently their performance and form is actually getting from bad to worse, given in mind that Lahti managed to collect just one single point in their last four league games (0-1-3), as in these four games they were able to score twice, while conceding a whole nine goals.
Ilves: Top of the table (Recent Form: WWWWWL)
Last season Ilves ended on fifth place in the table, as only the terrible ending of the campaign cost them a position in the top three, but so far in the new campaign they are looking more than impressive, being top of the table since almost the beginning of the campaign, despite having played less game. The team suffered just one single defeat in their opening thirteen league games played, having managed to win a whole eight times and with twenty eight points collected (8-4-1) like I said, they are currently top of the table, despite having played two, or even three games less than the clubs from second to fourth, which just shows how great their start is. Ilves is also currently on a great run of five consecutive victories in all competitions, including four in the league and one in the cup.
The Betting Verdict:
Ilves looks unstoppable right now, as they are playing great football, scoring goals and getting win after win and tomorrow I do not think that exactly Lahti will be the club that will stop that run.
