Match Time：6/9/2019 13:00 Sunday (GMT+8)
HollyHock still miss Yuji Kimura and now have added Junya Hosokawa to their injury list.
Avispa Fukuoka announced that their Italian manager Fabio Pecchia left the club. His replacement will be Kiyokazu Kudo, promoted from assistant. Despite not being in full training Yuki Saneto made it to the bench last weekend for Avispa. Both players returned from the Under-20 World Cup after elimination and will be available for selection if desired.
Suspended: Hiroyuki Mae (one game)
Injured/Unavailable: Yuji Kimura (knee), Junya Hosokawa (thigh strain)
MATCH PREVIEW MAIN PREDICTION: HOME WIN
HollyHock were shocked in J2 last weekend by Renofa Yamaguchi – who were equal bottom of J2 coming into the game – going down 1-0 at home to the strugglers. They have now lost two of their last four league matches but that's the only two games they've lost all season and they are still in touch with the top spot and highly motivated to do well, especially at home to repay their fans who watched last week's 1-0 home defeat.
Avisap returned to their refurbished stadium with a 1-1 home draw with Omiya Ardija last weekend in J2, the home goal coming from Yang Dong-hyen to make it 1-1. Italian manager Pecchia apparently left Avispa due to family reasons – a likely face-saving announcement for a team that was disappointing so far this season! His replacement, however, is just his assistant manager so I can't see a lot changing there.
HollyHock will have too much experience and defensive class for Avispa and it will be a narrow home win.
SECOND PREDICTION: HILO - LOW
HollyHock have seen just two games all season that have reached three total goals. They have five 1-0 wins (and both of their defeats have been 1-0). Not too many goals in this. 1-0 is a good bet, too!
HEAD TO HEAD
In J2 matches between these two teams last season Avispa won both matches.
