Shanghai SIPG: Among the top (Recent Form: WWWDWD)

The defending Champions Shanghai SIPG is having a really good season so far in all fronts, with the club being extremely close to the top of the table in the Super League, as the battle with Beijing Guoan and Guangzhou Evergrande being really tight and most probably going to be that way until the end of the season. The team also managed to qualify for the quarterfinals of the AFC Champions League and are in the quarterfinals in the FA Cup, so everything is going according to plan for the club at this stage. In the league they were able to collect forty three points in their opening seventeen league games played, winning fourteen of these matches (14-1-2), as well as having the positive goal difference of +21 goals in these games so far. Right now Shanghai is also on a run of four consecutive victories in the league, in which four matches they scored ten times and in the same time conceded just once and with the Champions League quarterfinals being a whole month from now, they can now fully concentrate on their league run, trying to catch the leaders or at least keep their tempo, not to get further behind.

Hebei: Among the bottom (Recent Form: WDLLWD)

Hebei is not having the best season for sure, despite that we have seen some improvement in the club as of recently, but still, after losing a whole nine times in their opening seventeen league games, quite normally, with just sixteen points collected in these matches (4-4-9) they are among the bottom sides in the ranks, currently having five points advantage from the danger zone. Also, almost all of the good results recently for them came in their home matches, while away from home the club is with five defeats from the first eight visits (1-2-5), as well as right now being on a run of collecting just one single point from their last six away games in all competitions (0-1-5).

The Betting Verdict:

The quality difference is too big here to see a surprise, as I think that Shanghai will be able to get all the points rather easily and without much pressure.
